Overview by muscle group
So that you can cover each muscle group specifically for your silent workout at home, you’ll find at least one suitable machine for each muscle group. After all, what good is a quiet piece of sports equipment that only allows you to train one muscle group? After all, your whole body should benefit from your workout at home.
As a basis, it is always recommended to use an appropriate base. Either a small training mat or if there is enough space, of course, supplemented by elegant sports pads.
Full body
TRX bands: are perfect for a balanced total body workout and can be used for exercises for beginners as well as very advanced experts. To do this, simply attach the TRX bands to the door frame (or any other fixed object) and the workout can start right away. TRX bands are therefore among the quiet sports equipment. as no heavy weights ever touch the ground at all. Only your body is in contact with the ground and with a little practice you will succeed in any exercise without any noise.
Fitness bands: An excellent addition to the TRX bands are the fitness bands. These fitness bands allow you to perform all imaginable exercises without making any noise. There are countless workouts on the internet for which these fitness bands are suitable. They are usually pulled apart to stress the muscles. And they are not even expensive. For under 20€ you can already find different strengths and lengths of the tapes in one set. Here, too, there are different version, but we can recommend the following both:
Gym ball: Often prescribed as a dull piece of yoga equipment, the gym ball doesn’t get the attention it deserves. Many strength athletes overlook the exercise ball, as a perfect piece of sports equipment to train the deep muscles. Due to its soft nature, the body must maintain balance through many small muscle efforts during an exercise. The exercise ball is perfect as a piece of sports equipment for the rented apartment, because its light weight means that it hardly makes a sound when dropped from usual heights.
Fascia roller: This roller can do wonders when used properly. It is used especially for stretching, self-massage and pain relief after and before sports. However, the fascia roller can also be incorporated directly into exercises. An ideal companion and a real relief when there is a draft in one or another part of the body. A fascia roller can save your or other trip to the massage. Since you only shift your body weight on the roller, there is almost no noise and the fascia roller is therefore the perfect device for a quiet workout.
Chest
Oscillating bars: Are known from psychological institutions for strengthening deep muscles. Also at home, vibrating rods can be used in the best way, because they are extremely quiet and at the same time very effective. They are ideal for strengthening the muscles of the chest and arms. A must-have in any dedicated, quiet home studio.
Dumbbells, kettlebell: these two types of weights are easy to control and are also not noisy when used properly. A mat is always recommended anyway to protect the flooring. At the same time, too much noise is avoided when the weights are set down. In addition, these two types of dishes can be used to exercise many areas of the body. Since the selection is a very large, and often some sets are sold out, we do not recommend any specific products at this point, but advise searching on Amazon. It is best to pay attention to good ratings. It is also advisable to buy a set that covers many weight levels, so that a wide variety of exercises and training phases can be covered.
Back
Swinging bar, kettlebell, dumbbell: Again, a swinging bar, dumbbells and a kettlebell are very suitable for the back. With the kettlebell can bspw. for the lower back kettlebell swings or deadlifts are performed. You can find the links above.
Poor
Hand exerciser: Probably the quietest piece of sports equipment you can have: a hand exerciser. If you’re not screaming from exhaustion, then you certainly won’t disturb anyone with this sports equipment, but you can strengthen your hands in peace in front of the TV or while brushing your teeth. There are practical sets for sale that cost little more than individual hand trainers.
Weight cuffs: They can be easily tied around the arms or legs to perform certain exercises, such as weight lifting. Make sit-ups, pull-ups, running or shoulder lifts more difficult, thus increasing the stimulus on the muscle. It is very easy to use, as the weights can simply be tied around the arm or foot.

Belly
Hulla Hoop tires: are just a new trend in the sports market. And rightly so. Who first thinks of boring belly dances is completely wrong, because many sports exercises for the abdomen and even the whole body can now be performed with a Hulla Hoop hoop. New tires made of rubber are also very quiet if they should ever fall to the ground. There are also models that can be disassembled for convenient storage.
Kettlebell: also with a kettlebell can be made more difficult, for example, sit-ups and thus provide a higher load on the individual abdominal muscles. More detailed description see above.
Legs
Mini elliptical trainer: a fantastic device to keep your legs fit and train your endurance at the same time. Extremely compact and at the same time also very quiet and perfect for the rental apartment. Regular exercise can tone leg muscles without disturbing the neighbors.
