In addition, of course, there is the decisive component of the noise producer, which is often the human being himself. To be fair, it should be mentioned that there are other influencing factors as well, but first and foremost, the person going through the door is the culprit for causing noise.
Man: Whether out of anger or by expending a lot of force unintentionally. If the door closes too quickly, there is almost always a loud noise.
The wind: Especially in the case of front doors or other large doors, such as barn doors, it is not uncommon for the corresponding large attack surface in conjunction with the influence of the wind to cause a loud banging when the door hits the door frame.

In the following paragraph, I briefly and succinctly discuss the best methods that have also proven successful in my home. With it, you’ll be well armed against all the angry “door slammers” and wildly blowing winds in your house.
Close the door with care
Probably the most banal but at the same time the simplest solution is to close the door carefully. That is, before closing the door, make yourself aware of what will happen if you close the door too quickly. This may sound strange, but it is the first solution you should tackle.
Use of a door closer
Probably the most convenient option is the use of a door closer. You can sit back and not worry about who closes the door and how. The door closer takes over this task for you. It is important to remember that the door must either be completely open or always close by itself. This use case is most useful when a door should be kept open in most cases or it should always close. I link you here the doorstop from ABUS, which I myself have also attached to my front door. Stopper between door and door gap
Another way to protect the door from slamming unintentionally is to use a commercially available doorstop. This is especially helpful if the door does not necessarily have to be closed anyway. For example, if the door to the kitchen or living room can always be open. If the door does need to be closed, then the doorstop can simply be removed. In principle, the doorstop acts as a weight and the closing of the door is thus prevented. Use of dampers in the door frame
Also a very effective way to prevent the noise of a slamming door, like the previously mentioned examples and with a triple effect. Due to the insulation of the door with anti-collision tape, on the one hand, the kinetic energy is slowed down when closing the door, and on the other hand, you have direct protection against drafts, thus keeping the heat in the room. In addition, you insulate your door and you additionally protect yourself against noise from outside as well as noise to the outside.
